-
While we understand the desire for independence, our commitment to excellence means that certain aspects of the DREAM Assessment are best left in expert hands - ours! Per our copyright parameters, organizations are not permitted to run this survey or variations thereof using their own survey methods or materials. Even customized survey questions and branding still fall within CircleUp's intellectual property to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of the assessment. However, fear not! The raw data results belong to you. We’ll provide you with the raw data in Excel and PowerPoint format, allowing you to access both the numbers and summary graphs for as long as you like. This empowers you to dive deep into the results, share them internally as you wish, and integrate them into your organization’s DEI journey seamlessly.
-
The standard DREAM Assessment in its original form typically takes 10-15 minutes for employees to complete. However, depending on the customizations you make, this timeframe can either be shortened or extended. Don't worry though - Our team will be there to guide you through the process, ensuring you strike the perfect balance between gathering vital data and keeping things efficient.

Launching the standard survey template is a breeze, taking just 3 business days from contract signing to get you up and running! But when it comes to customization, we've got options to tailor the survey to fit your unique needs:
Reviewing and customizing survey questions allows us to fine-tune the assessment to your specific workplace focus areas. This process typically takes 1-4 weeks, with room for 1-2 meetings to discuss and finalize changes.
Once your revisions are in, our expert team swings into action, incorporating your requested changes with precision. This customization process takes a minimum of 3-5 days, ensuring your survey reflects your organization's goals and priorities.
When it's time to launch, we're here to support you every step of the way. Depending on your internal approval processes, survey launch can take 1-2 weeks. If you'd like us to present the survey, additional planning is required, but trust us, the extra effort is worth it!
Throughout the survey period, we'll keep you in the loop with regular updates and reminders to boost response rates. We recommend keeping the survey open for 2-2.5 weeks to maximize engagement and participation.
Finally, once the survey closes, you'll gain access to an online dashboard bursting with insights and analysis. Within 1-2 days, you'll receive a link to explore your survey results and unlock valuable data-driven insights to fuel your organization's growth and success.
-
Absolutely! When it comes to feedback, anonymity is our top priority. We don't collect any identifying information such as names, emails, or employee ID numbers. While our survey platform tracks IP addresses to prevent duplicate responses, this data is never shared with us, you, or your employees.
Now, let's talk about gathering specific data. Say you're keen on comparing results between different departments or regions. We'll work closely with you to ensure that asking for department or regional information doesn't compromise the anonymity of the survey. Your trust and honesty in the survey are paramount to us, so rest assured, we'll find broader options to gather the insights you need while maintaining anonymity.
As for demographic data, we tread carefully. While it can offer valuable insights into the diverse experiences of your workforce, we highly caution against it. Questions related to race, gender, or age can understandably make respondents wary of answering honestly. Moreover, lumping employees together based on demographic data can inadvertently fuel negative biases and tensions within the workforce.
Our goal with the DREAM assessment is to transform workplace culture positively, not create divisions. We'll always provide guidance on navigating these potential risks, ensuring that the DREAM assessment remains a tool for unity and growth within your organization.

Timing is key when it comes to meaningful results from the DREAM Assessment. While the soonest reassessment typically occurs at 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year, the frequency ultimately hinges on your organization's ability to implement changes effectively. Some organizations have seen rapid changes and opted for shorter intervals, even as soon as one month. Conversely, others have preferred longer intervals, waiting up to a year to complete their first cycle of DEI initiatives.
However, it's crucial to strike the right balance. Waiting too long may risk the momentum of your initiatives or overlook evolving workplace dynamics. Our team can work with you to determine the optimal reassessment schedule tailored to your organization's pace and goals, ensuring continuous progress and impact.
-
The recommendations stemming from the DREAM Assessment are tailored to the unique and specific trends uncovered in your organization's survey, as well as the insights gathered during our data analysis discussions with you. These recommendations can range from targeted initiatives such as providing training on implicit bias or how to respond to microaggressions, to broader strategies aimed at fostering relationships among staff across departments.
Each recommendation is meticulously crafted to address the distinct needs and challenges identified in your organization's survey results. Our approach ensures that the recommendations provided are not only relevant but also nuanced, taking into account the intricacies of your organization's culture and dynamics. Together, we'll develop actionable strategies to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, driving positive change and fostering a more harmonious workplace environment.
