CircleUp Education is an IACET Accredited Provider. This accreditation reflects a documented commitment to quality continuing education and training processes—and gives participants and organizations a clearer way to identify CircleUp learning events that offer IACET Continuing Education Units.
Who is IACET?
A standard for quality continuing education and training
IACET stands for the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training. IACET develops, implements, and maintains the ANSI/IACET Continuing Education and Training Standard, which provides a framework for how continuing education and training is planned, developed, delivered, assessed, documented, and evaluated.
Organizations seeking Accredited Provider status must demonstrate that their continuing education and training policies and processes align with the Standard. That work involves documented policies, evidence of implementation, a detailed review, and an accreditation interview.

What does CircleUp's Accredited Provider status mean?
It means CircleUp's continuing education and training processes were reviewed against an established standard—not simply described in marketing language.

What is an IACET CEU?
A consistent unit for continuing education
An IACET Continuing Education Unit provides a standard way to measure participation in organized, non-credit continuing education and training. One IACET CEU equals ten contact hours of participation in an organized learning experience delivered under responsible sponsorship, capable direction, and qualified instruction.
The number of IACET CEUs available for a qualifying CircleUp learning event will be stated on the event or course information page.
IACET CEUs are recognized by many professional associations, regulatory boards, employers, corporations, and universities; however, acceptance is not automatic. Confirm requirements with the employer, licensing board, credentialing body, or other organization that will receive the CEU record before enrolling.
Flexible ways to learn
Qualifying learning events may be offered in multiple formats
CircleUp may offer IACET CEUs for learning events delivered in person, online, or through a blended format—when that specific learning event has completed CircleUp's internal review process and meets the applicable requirements.

Live, in person
Facilitator-led learning delivered at a workplace, conference, training location, or other in-person setting.

Live online
Real-time, facilitator-led learning delivered through Zoom or another approved virtual learning environment.

Self-paced online
Online learning completed independently within the structure and requirements established for that qualifying course.

Blended learning
A coordinated experience combining in-person, live online, and/or self-paced components as part of one qualifying learning event.
An important distinction
Not every CircleUp course offers IACET CEUs
IACET accredits CircleUp Education as an organization based on the processes used to plan, design, develop, deliver, assess, evaluate, administer, and document continuing education and training. IACET does not individually approve or certify every CircleUp course.
Only learning events that have completed CircleUp's internal review process and are specifically identified as offering IACET CEUs will award them. The determination must be made before the learning event is conducted; IACET CEUs are not awarded retroactively.

How to identify a learning event that offers IACET CEUs
CircleUp will clearly label qualifying learning events so participants and purchasing organizations can understand what is available and what is required.

The specific IACET CEU amount will be identified before registration. - Participation and completion requirements
Attendance, engagement, assessment, and other requirements will be stated where applicable. - Delivery format and schedule
The page will identify whether the event is in person, live online, self-paced, or blended. - Certificate or learner-record information
Participants will receive information about the documentation provided after successful completion.
Beyond the initial award
Accreditation includes ongoing responsibility
Accredited Provider status is not a one-time marketing designation. CircleUp must continue to apply the Standard to learning events for which it awards IACET CEUs and remain in good standing with IACET.
Maintain compliant processes
CircleUp remains responsible for ensuring that qualifying learning events continue to meet the applicable Standard categories and elements.
Review and report
Accredited Providers complete ongoing reporting and quality-review activities to maintain their status.
Renew accreditation
Accreditation operates on a five-year cycle and requires reaccreditation to the applicable Standard.
