What CircleCraft™ Conflict Circles: Pre-Circle Assessment & Preparation Training Teaches
CircleCraft™ Conflict Circles: Pre-Circle Assessment & Preparation is a practical conflict resolution training that teaches participants what to do from the moment they are asked to address a conflict. Participants learn how to assess an incident and design individualized pre-circle meetings before bringing people together.
The training explores each part of the pre-circle assessment and preparation process, including why every step matters when creating a safe, inclusive, and brave space. Participants learn how to help people process what happened, reflect on impact, and identify what they need to move forward or make things right.
Using the CircleCraft™ Conflict Circles Design Guide, participants plan pre-circle meetings and practice facilitating them through modeled role-plays. They strengthen restorative communication skills such as open-ended questions, paraphrasing for content and feeling, and reflective listening.

Testimonials
“This training gave me a clear process for what to do before bringing people together. I now feel much more prepared to assess a conflict, meet with each person, and determine what they need to move forward.”
HR Manager“The role-play and coaching were especially valuable. I practiced asking restorative questions, paraphrasing emotions, and creating space for someone to reflect without rushing them toward a solution.”
School Administrator
“We often focused so much on the circle itself that we underestimated the preparation required. This training showed us how thoughtful pre-circle meetings can create greater safety, honesty, and readiness for everyone involved.”
