What Crossed Culture™ Teaches
Crossed Culture™ is a practical conflict training that helps staff recognize when conflict may be shaped by cultural differences in values, norms, communication, language, and expectations. Grounded in reflection, structured analysis, and person-centered communication, the training introduces a simple framework for understanding what may be happening underneath the surface of conflict.
Pillar 1: Cultural Conflict Drivers
Participants learn how cultural conflict differs from other common workplace conflict and how values, norms, upbringing, language, and communication styles can shape tension.
Pillar 2: Conflict Preparation
Participants learn how to use the Cultural Conflict Driver Analysis Worksheet to look beneath surface-level conflict and identify prevention-oriented next steps.
Pillar 3: In-the-Moment Response
Participants learn the Responsive Sequence for addressing cultural conflict as it unfolds by pausing, naming possible drivers neutrally, clarifying roles, reframing toward shared purpose, and choosing an action path.
Learning Outcomes
Distinguish cultural conflict from other common workplace conflicts
Analyze real service and workplace scenarios by identifying at least 3 of the 5 cultural conflict drivers
Apply the Cultural Conflict Driver Analysis Worksheet to recommend prevention-oriented next steps to reduce escalation
