What Discussion Circle Teaches
Discussion Circle is a restorative practices circle experience designed to help teams and communities come together in a more intentional, reflective, and human way. It creates a structured space for people to discuss real challenges, experiences, and workplace realities with greater empathy, respect, and openness.
Unlike generic discussion activities, Discussion Circle is customized for each client. The discussion rounds are thoughtfully crafted around the team’s goals, pain points, current challenges, or experiences they want to process together. Whether a team is navigating tension, change, stress, trauma, disconnection, or simply a lack of meaningful time to talk, this circle offers a grounded and respectful process for collective reflection.
Participants are invited to share from their own point of view without interruption, judgment, or pressure to perform. As they listen to others and reflect on their own experiences, they build deeper awareness of themselves, one another, and the team as a whole.
Pillar 1: Building Trust
Each circle begins with an opening and introduction designed to warm up the group, break down walls, and create a stronger sense of psychological safety.
Pillar 3: Tailored Discussion Rounds
The discussion questions are carefully designed for the client and community. These are not generic prompts. They are created to help the group reflect on relevant experiences, tensions, challenges, needs, and opportunities for restoration.
Pillar 2: Agreements & Boundary Setting
Participants name what they need in order to feel ready to participate. This round supports shared expectations, emotional safety, and respectful engagement.
